From its inception, the organization’s goal has been to help maintain a connection among persons of Lithuanian origin, living outside their fatherland, and sustain their sense of community spirit.  In New York, we work to address the common challenges and interests of Lithuanians whose families came here generations ago, and those who have recently arrived.  Often in collaboration with the Consul General of Lithuania in New York, we organize concerts, exhibits, and cultural events, all intended to foster a sense of Lithuanian-American community in Manhattan.
